These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Donup. By using Donup, you agree to these terms.

1. About Donup

Donup is a platform that enables individuals and organisations to make and receive donations. We provide donation management, project listings, subscription donations, and basic insights.

2. Eligibility

Donors must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent.
Non-profits, charities, and CICs must provide accurate information when registering.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
Donup reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Donations

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Donup does not handle or store card details.
Donors may make one-off or subscription donations.
Donations are final and non-refundable, unless required by law.
Donup does not guarantee that donations will be used for any specific purpose by the recipient.

5. Non-Profit Listings & Projects

Non-profits are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide on Donup.
Donup does not vet or endorse every non-profit or project listed.
Donors are responsible for deciding whether to donate.

6. Fees

Donup may charge service fees on donations. Any applicable fees will be clearly displayed before you complete a donation.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use Donup for fraudulent or illegal purposes.
Post misleading, harmful, or offensive content.
Interfere with the operation of the platform.

8. Liability

Donup provides the platform “as is” and makes no guarantees regarding project outcomes, fundraising success, or the use of donations by non-profits.
Donup is not liable for losses arising from donations, project misrepresentations, or third-party services.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or misuse Donup.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on Donup (logos, software, branding) belongs to Donup or its licensors. You may not use it without permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
